Brenda Moore, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, has been a former Teacher of Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education for twenty-five years for Jefferson County Public Schools / Saint Joseph Child Development Center.

She is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose loyalties of love, and devotion are to her Lord and Savior, family, and helping people.

For twenty-seven years her family endured mental illness, which gave her the incentive to become a first-time author of, "Walking in the Shadow of a Schizophrenic / Power of Forgiveness.

Her testimony of survival, faith, and perseverance.

Brenda hopes her family's journey is transparent, connective, and supportive to individuals and families struggling with schizophrenia or similar mental disabilities.

Brenda served in a leadership capacity for the following: Bible Teacher, Women Ministry, Sunday School Coordinator, Social/Program Director, Youth Advisor, Missions Chairman, Choir Director, Christian Camps; Instructor for God's Woman Study at the College of the Scriptures.

Brenda earned a Master of Education, Bachelor of Science in Education, Associate degree in Christian Education.
